I was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa - son of missionaries with the Christian Reformed Church in Nigeria. I attended Western Christian High School (Hull, IA), Dordt College (Sioux Center, IA) and started my teaching career in Lake Worth, FL (Lake Worth Christian Schools). After receiving my Master's Degree (Nova University - Ft. Lauderdale, FL - Administration/Supervision), I was Minister of Outreach in Tri-Cities, WA (Tri-Cities CRC) and Youth  Pastor in Lynden, WA (Third CRC). I started my tenure at Ontario Christian Middle School in August of '98. My duties as Middle School Principal do still allow me to get into classrooms regularly... to stay in touch! In my "spare" time, my wife (Marlene) and I get involved in various ministries at CrossPoint CRC. Marlene is a 2nd grade teacher at OC. CJ (married to Keri Ballast) works as an engineer for Boeing in St. Louis. His wife uses her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy in St. Louis. Their daughter (Anneka) was born Jan. 11, 2011! Angela (married to Cody See) teaches Kindergarten at OC. Cody works for OC in the maintenance department. Kevin is getting his physical therapy doctorate at Regis University in Denver. His girlfriend (Jocelyn) is getting her nursing degree at Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA.
